The short version: we collect what we need to run your class, we don't track you around the internet, and we never sell your information. Here's the honest detail.

What we collect

  • When you sign up or join a waitlist: your name and email address, which class you signed up for, and what you've paid.
  • When you pay: your card details go straight to Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number. Stripe tells us whether the payment went through.
  • When you email us: whatever you choose to send.
  • Automatically: like every website, our hosting provider keeps basic technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to keep the site running and secure.

What we don't do

  • No advertising trackers, no analytics cookies, no selling or renting your information. Ever.
  • The only cookie this site sets is a login cookie for our own staff. Visitors browsing classes and signing up don't get one.
  • No newsletters or marketing emails unless you've asked for them.

How we use it

  • To hold your spot, take payment and issue refunds.
  • To email you about your class: confirmations, reminders, waitlist openings, balance links and changes.
  • To know who's coming, so the instructor has a roster.
  • To keep basic records for taxes and accounting.

Who else sees it

We use a few trusted services to run the site. They only get what they need to do their job:

  • Stripe processes payments.
  • Resend delivers our emails.
  • Netlify hosts the website.
  • Neon hosts our database.

We'll also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep registration and payment records for as long as we need them to run classes and meet tax and accounting requirements. If you'd like your information deleted sooner, ask us and we'll remove whatever we're not required to keep.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we have about you. Email hello@brickhauscomedy.com and a real person will get back to you.

Kids

Our classes are built for adults, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has signed up, let us know and we'll delete their information.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. See also our terms.
